SUPPORT FOR PROVIDERS
Since April 2009, providers have been experiencing difficulty with train to gain funding due to LSC funding review of approved providers.
To support providers during this difficult time, these are the actions that The Skills Academy is implementing:
  • Working with The Skills Academy network to send a collective letter of concern to John Denham
  • With Semta we are using our contacts to work directly with DIUS ministers to find a solution at regional level.
  • Implementing regional solutions when and where possible.
  • Linking providers with available funding to those with demand.
